Tool Repair Plan

Four tools need work. This page says what each tool should do, what is wrong, and how we will fix it.

Updated ยท 2026-08-01

Tool 1

IP Search

This tool helps you look up an internet address block and learn who owns it.

How it should work

You type an address block or company name. The tool shows the owner, the full list of related address blocks, related network IDs, and all useful contacts with email and phone when they exist.

What is broken

It often finds the right owner, but it stops too early. Some phone numbers are missing. Some company address lists are incomplete. One major region still fails company search.

How we will fix it

We will make the tool finish the full job every time: owner, full address list, contacts, and related network IDs. We will prove it with real examples on the live page.

What we checked live

Area What should happen What happens now Status
North America Find the company, all related address blocks, contacts with phones, and related network IDs. Owner is right. Some contacts and phones are found. The full address list is still incomplete. Partly working
Europe Find the company, all related address blocks, contacts with phones, and related network IDs. Owner is right. Related address list is strong. Phone numbers are still missing. Partly working
Asia Pacific Find the company, full address list, real contacts, and related network IDs. Owner name is right, but the tool only returns the first block. Contacts are weak or wrong. Company search can fail. Not ready
Latin America Same full result as the other regions. We still need one agreed test example before we can mark this done. Needs example

Tool 2

Unused IP Finder

This tool should find address blocks that may not be in use and turn them into sales leads.

How it should work

Each day it checks address blocks, finds good contacts, removes bad matches, and prepares safe leads for review. Approved leads can then go into the sales system.

What is broken

The main page is still failing because a needed file cannot be read safely. The daily jobs stay paused until that is fixed.

How we will fix it

Fix the page first. Run a safe test. Check for bad or duplicate leads. Only then turn the daily jobs back on.

Tool 3

Email Follow-Up

This tool should help the team handle replies and follow up with the right people.

How it should work

It collects replies, sorts them, shows who needs attention, and helps prepare the next message. Any real message to a person should be reviewed first.

What is broken

The page can show inboxes and replies, but the daily process is still unclear. We have not locked which steps should run on their own.

How we will fix it

We will write the simple daily checklist, connect only the needed steps, and test with fake records first. No real customer email during testing.

Tool 4

Blog

This tool should turn an idea into a clean draft that is easy to read and ready to review.

How it should work

It finds a topic, writes the article, adds images, and creates a draft with one clear title, easy-to-read text, working links, and images in the right places.

What is broken

It can still make a draft, but the page can look broken. A recent draft had hard-to-read text on a teal background, missing link words, two titles, and images in the middle of sections.

How we will fix it

Fix the page look first. Clean the current draft. Then fix the rules so future drafts do not repeat the same problems.

What we saw on the live draft

Problem What it looks like Why it matters
Hard to read The article sat on a big teal block. Some words were hard to see. Some link words disappeared. Even good writing looks broken.
Two titles The main title said one thing. The first section heading said almost the same thing again. The top of the post feels messy.
Image placement Images showed up in the middle of sections instead of above the next section title. The post feels crowded and uneven.
Content intact The words, images, and draft were all there. This is not an empty article. We mostly need format fixes, not a full rewrite.

Order of work

What we will do next

1

Agree on the finish line

We already have clear tests for IP Search and a clear Blog format standard. Next we still need one Latin America test example and a simple daily checklist for Email Follow-Up.

2

Fix IP Search

Complete the full company result, restore missing phones, and make the weak region work.

3

Fix Unused IP Finder

Repair the broken page, run a safe test, then turn daily jobs back on only if the test looks good.

4

Fix Blog format, then Email Follow-Up

Make drafts easy to read, clean the current example, place images correctly, and prove it with a test post. Then lock the email daily checklist.

5

Show proof

Test the live pages, check the final results, and only keep the daily jobs that pass.

The goal is simple

Each tool should do its job clearly. Each daily job should leave a result you can see. If something breaks, the system should say what failed.
